Smart Horizont successfully organized the first workshop in Montenegro as part of the AwesomePlus IPA Project, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss innovative uses of agricultural waste in construction.
The workshop focused on the initial findings of a study conducted by project experts on the reuse of agricultural waste as building materials—an important step toward promoting sustainability and circular economy practices in the South Adriatic region.
Participants included professionals, local authorities, environmental experts, and students, all contributing to a lively and meaningful discussion on how organic waste from agriculture can be transformed into valuable resources for the construction sector.
The event marked an important milestone in the project’s implementation, laying the groundwork for future collaboration between Albania, Italy, and Montenegro in addressing environmental challenges through practical, cross-border solutions.
